スペインの”DENIX社”は、古今東西 様々な時代・国のレプリカガンを製造・販売しているが、この”火縄銃”もその一つである。たぶん、現在唯一製品として流通している火縄銃のレプリカであると思われるが、残念ながら其の出来はイマイチ･･･宜しくなかった。

無理繰りなオリエンタルチック

台木(銃床)や引き・用心金の造詣はとても良くカッコイイのだが･･･、

カラクリ周りの出来が残念すぎる。地金に変な唐草模様(?)を入れたり、火挟みに竜･･･っぽい何かをあしらったりと、良く見る”西洋人の思うオリエンタルチック・デザイン”が煩すぎる。

左側に地金があるのも、火縄銃にはあまり見られない意匠である。

Ethan Allen(Allen & Thurber)社 1840～50年代中頃に製造された
"Pepperbox Revolver"です。
管打(パーカッション)式 ダブルアクション 6連発、150～160年前の
鉄砲でありますが、程度はとっても良く、動作は非常にスムーズです。

実銃ですが、"古式銃"として登録されていて"古美術品"として合法的に
所持する事が出来ます。

実際に発射した形跡もありますので、さて誰が何時･･･何に(誰に^^;)
向かって撃ったか･･･このような古銃を見ていると興味は尽きません^^)。

　ゲーベル(ゲベール?)銃 管打式滑腔砲先込銃
　ちゃんと手入れしてあげねば…と思いながらも今日に至る。
　この銃は,幕末期に大量に輸入された1丁だと思われるが,
　官軍/幕府軍どちらが使ったのか? …思いは馳せる。
　一見して錆々,でも作動は良好で火線も通ってる..撃てるかも^^;)
　　　　　※勿論、教育委員会発行の登録証付(↓) 合法品
　一時期,幕末ﾓﾉに凝っていた時にどうしても欲しくなり手に入れた。
　多分,1800年代の中頃〜終頃? 欧州の何処かの街で造られたのだろうが,
　幕末期に日本に渡り,幾多の戦いにまみえ…ひょっとしたら実際に
　人を撃った事もあるやも知れない。
　それが現在,どう言う経緯で…自分の手にあるのか,彼が話せるのなら
　是非話を聞いて見たいなぁ。
