モデルは、"Casio AS-A" 1969年(昭和44年）発売の"電子ソロバン"です。 ニキシー管がかっこいいでしょう！。
本機は輸出で爆発的に売れたそうで、日本が電子機器分野で躍進を始めた頃の製品ですね。本年もまた、"妙なモン集め"が止めれそうもありません^^;)。
ところで、この計算機には現在の電卓では当たり前に付いている、ある 機能がありません。さて・・・何かお分かりでしょうか？。

もうお分かりですね^^)、そう"小数点"がありません。 この頃の電子計算機はまだ小数点以下の計算が出来ない、"整数電卓" だったのです。 では、"10÷3="を計算するとどうなるかと言うと････"3"と表示されます。 彼らは"ゆとり世代"だったんです！(･･･時代先取り杉！！)。 カシオの電卓で小数点以下が計算できるようになったのは(ただし小数点 以下2桁まで)、カシオミニの3代目 "CM-602 1973年発売"からなのでした。 いやぁ 、技術の進歩って面白いですよねぇ。

    カシオの横長電卓スタイルは、このAS-Aが始祖だそうです。
    当時の定価11万円は大卒初任給の3～4倍ですから･･･、
    現在の60～80万円くらいの感覚でしょうか^^;)。

    カシオというと中学校時代に友人が持っていたポケコンがファーストコンタクトですが、それからさかのぼるとこういうアイテムになるのですね。
    どういうルートで確保なさるのか不思議です。
